500 children each year are diagnosed with a brain tumour – changing their lives and those of their families in an instant.
Right now, we can only reach one in five families through our in-hospital services – you can help change that.
Thousands of children and young people in the UK are living with the after effects of a brain tumour and treatment.
They face lasting cognitive, emotional and physical challenges. Many struggle to return to school and make friends, and long term outcomes and quality of life are poor.
Specialist psychological support is essential to recovery, yet many hospitals are unable to offer the extensive, tailored help our families need from diagnosis, throughout treatment and beyond. This leaves many without access.

Taking action for brighter futures
Our vision is simple but ambitious: we will be able to offer at least a minimum level of expert psychological support to every child and family, aiding recovery and quality of life or helping families facing the devastation of the death of a child.
We are:
Expanding access to psychological support
Building a national resource hub
Strengthening family-centred services and support

How you can help
We need to double our annual income to deliver Brighter Futures.
Raising £5 million over the next five years will build a stronger and more resilient family, reduce NHS burden and provide vital care at the hardest times.
Your support will make a difference.
Together, we will transform psychological support for all children and families, creating brighter futures.
