The Big Give 2023
28th November – 5th December 2023
Believe it or not, it’s Big Give time again and we’re encouraging our supporters to donate their last hour of pay in 2023 through the Big Give to help children and families coping with a brain tumour diagnosis.
We are delighted to announce we are working with the Big Give again this year to double our donations and launch our Christmas campaign for 2023. With this in mind, we are delighted to launch our ‘Donate your Last Hour’ Christmas campaign where we encourage our supporters to donate their last hour of wages in 2023, which will then be DOUBLED through the Big Give.
Donating your last hour of wages could enable a clinical psychologist to be there for a child and their family when facing a devastating brain tumour diagnosis. And with the Big Give your money will support twice as many families.
We are hoping to raise £6,250 online during Big Give week on our campaign page and those donations will be matched by our Champion Pledger, Pozitive Energy, for £3,750 and the Reed Foundation, our Champion Funder, for £2,500, making our total for the week £12,500 – doubling every donation given.
All you have to do is:
- – Calculate your last hour of pay using the online calculator below.
- – Donate the amount through our page on the Big Give website.
- – Watch your donation double and know you’re doing something incredible for children with brain tumours this Christmas.
Rebecca Wood, CEO at Cambridge-based Tom’s Trust, said: “This year we’re looking to raise a total of £12,500. In order to access the matched funds, we need to raise £6,250 in online donations. We hope we can reach this target to enable us to carry on our much-needed work for children with brain tumours over the festive period. We know there’s a cost-of-living crisis and that’s currently makes donating difficult for a lot of people. But if you would like to support a charity this year, this is the perfect opportunity to do so as anything you can spare us will go twice as far at no extra cost to you.”
