Newcastle residents will now be able to vote for Tom’s Trust whenever they make a purchase at their local Tesco to give the charity a chance of winning some vital funding.
Voting will commence in stores from the first week of July 2022 and continue until 30th September 2022, when customers will be given a token to then vote for their favourite charity whenever they make a purchase.
The project with the highest number of votes across the region will be able to receive £1,500, the second placed project £1,000, and the third placed project £500.
With the money, Tom’s Trust aims to fund some Christmas activity packs for children with brain tumours at the Great North Children’s Hospital in Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
