Just before Christmas Tom’s Trust were presented with a cheque from the Cambridge branch of Nationwide for £5,000. Approximately 39 children are diagnosed with a brain tumour each year in the East of England and this money is fantastic as it will allow each one of those children to receive an initial psychological assessment.
Nationwide have been a huge support to the charity, and this donation will make a huge impact on the children and their families affected by a brain tumour. This figure is a wonderful amount to receive and will help provide the early foundations for the journey of rehabilitation, and additionally support those families who face losing a child.
