The Rathbones Cambridge office recently announced that they have chosen Tom’s Trust as a charity partner for the year ahead and kicked off the partnership with a £10,000 donation from the Rathbones Foundation. They now have a team training to run the Cambridge Half marathon for our charity.

Chris Holton, Rathbones Assistant Investment Manager, says: “We are incredibly excited to support the charity and help ensure that they can continue to carry out the vital support they give to children and families within Cambridge, and further afield.
“The support they provide is pivotal in enabling children to reintegrate back into education and allows them the best possible chance to fulfil their potential. This support is made possible thanks to the Rathbones Group Foundation, which empowers Rathbones employees to identify and champion meaningful charitable causes within their local communities.
“We are delighted to be running the Cambridge Half Marathon for Tom’s Trust. The support they provide to children both in the local area and nationally is incredible, and we are excited to fundraise for such a worthy cause.”
Alongside Chris, the Rathbones Cambridge Half Marathon team includes Mark Winchester (Office Head), Harry Lygoe and Lee Pearce (Investment Managers) and Sam Garrad (Assistant Investment Manager). The team is currently regularly training together in preparation for the big day.
“Training is going surprisingly well for such an injury prone team!” Chris commented. “We have started a run club at work and go out together once or twice a week for a run which has been really nice. Time is counting down a little too quickly however which is scary!”
